December 13, 2012, 7:00 pm, the SME held a special "China in our eyes "social observation salon at B-106in in the science building. The salon is part of the Beijing Institute of Technology 2012-2013 school year "Faith. Youth. Sunshine" a series of activities organized by the Communist Youth League and hosted by the School of Management and Economics. In the salon, students discussed international and domestic affairs hotspots including the world politics, the 18th National Congress of the CPC and anti-corruption, the Sino-Japan dispute over the Diaoyu Islands, the Sino-India border dispute, and the world trade barriers. The event was designed to train and show our college students’ sense of social responsibility and patriotic consciousness.
