主講人簡介：
牟效毅，本科畢業(yè)于中國人民大學貿(mào)易經(jīng)濟系，博士畢業(yè)于美國俄克拉荷馬大學（University of Oklahoma），經(jīng)濟學博士?，F(xiàn)任英國鄧迪大學能源法律與政策中心副教授，能源經(jīng)濟學科暨能源研究專業(yè)碩士項目負責人，研究方向為產(chǎn)業(yè)組織和能源經(jīng)濟學。其論文曾在Journal of Industrial Economics, Economic Inquiry, Energy Journal, and Energy Economics等雜志發(fā)表。 牟效毅博士是美國經(jīng)濟學會、國際能源經(jīng)濟學會（International Association for Energy Economics）會員，并曾于2005年、2006年連續(xù)兩次獲得IAEE最佳學生論文獎。在赴鄧迪大學任教前，牟效毅博士于2006-2008年在知名的能源咨詢公司Global Energy Decisions （現(xiàn)ABB Ventyx）任高級咨詢師，主要從事電力市場的咨詢與預測工作。他曾于2005年在得州電力市場公司（ERCOT）實習。 1994-2001年，在中國石油天然氣集團公司及中國石油天然氣股份公司（“中國石油”）從事石油銷售與計劃管理工作。
內(nèi)容簡介：
The first part is based on one of the author’s recently published papers, “Small Trend and Big Cycles in Crude Oil Prices” which looks at the behaviour of oil prices in 150 years. The second part regarding oil price outlook looks at the long-term demand and supply fundaments with a particular focus on the market structure and strategies of OPEC and US shale industry. The third part focuses on the drivers of US shale gas revolution and some of the environmental concerns. We will also offer some insight on whether the shale gas revolution can happen in China.
