報告人簡介:

胡享平,挪威科技大學產(chǎn)業(yè)生態(tài)中心一級研究員/科研型教授。曾在挪威科技大學獲數(shù)學博士學位,并在挪威奧斯陸大學從事生物統(tǒng)計學方向博士后研究工作。長期致力于生態(tài)系統(tǒng)與生物多樣性研究,能熟練運用數(shù)學統(tǒng)計學方法解決植被與氣候變化/生態(tài)系統(tǒng)間的耦合問題。目前負責中挪國際合作項目,即生態(tài)系統(tǒng)多重壓力的緩解策略研究,關注青藏高原和挪威等高海拔高寒地區(qū)的氣候變化和生態(tài)系統(tǒng)服務壓力及其應對策略。多個國際SCI期刊副主編或編委,并已在《Nature Communications》《Global Environmental Change》《Landscape and Urban Planning》《Environmental impact assessment review》《Resources Policy》《Journal of Environmental Management》《Journal of Geophysical Research》《Climate Policy》《Frontiers in Ecology and the Environment》《Biological Conservation》等國際高水平期刊發(fā)表論文80余篇,相關研究引起多家媒體的持續(xù)關注和報道。獲得國際李群分析組織(瑞典)頒發(fā)的現(xiàn)代李群分析認證證書,國際產(chǎn)業(yè)生態(tài)學會會員,全球華人產(chǎn)業(yè)生態(tài)學會會員,歐洲地球科學協(xié)會會員,挪威統(tǒng)計學家協(xié)會會員。

報告內容簡介:

Changes in land cover are increasingly affecting land surface properties and provision of ecosystem services. Understanding recent historical land cover changes and their interlinkages with key environmental processes is instrumental to better support strategies for land-use management. In this talk, we will discuss the important roles of land cover in climate change and its implications to policy makers. We first show the spatial and temporal pattern of global land covers dynamics, in European and in four Nordic countries. We then discuss the impact of changes in land cover for soil erosion and biomass carbon losses, especially focus on deforestation. The contribution of climate change from changes in land cover will also be discussed, together with a novel method for unmixing the contributions from different land cover classes. Scenario design is directly linked to policy making, and we at the end show the possibility of designing future land cover change scenarios to simulate the ecosystem services.
